Why is Matt Hancock not 7 day testing?

Why does he get to stay home and isolate when the rest of us who have been in contact with someone who tested positive have to go to work and test every day for 7 days and carry on regardless and risk our colleagues and families?

Just heard the incompetent Williamson interviewed on LBC. He is very conveniently excusing the government's mismanagement of schools in view of the complete surprise new variant. In his view all their policies and guidance was working beautifully until the surprise new variant which he says he was only aware of 1 month ago. This variant was identified in September. Cases were rising alarmingly in areas and they did nothing with schools all through the autumn term. A national lockdown but all schools remained open with no social distancing. His response when asked about 7 day testing bring paused was that it had been working well in many schools but the new variant was causing a problem. A most untrustworthy person along with the rest ofcthis government. They fucked up big time.
