Thought this was an interesting read on processes to follow re administering covid vaccines . Was published in August 2020 . I have not seen a later version as of yet .

Interesting it highlights for most adverse reactions occur within first 2 minutes so a longer ‘ observation’ is not a primary recommendation.

Im really impressed how roll out is going so far .. well done UK .

My GP vaccination hub is apparently not making people stay 10-15 minutes for observation any more with the AZ Oxford vaccine. Maybe they are doing the 2 minutes?
Other hubs are apparently, and there is another thread about how tea and biscuits are being served at a couple of places? Confused

@thecustomerisalwaysright it was the tea and biscuit post which prompted me to look if any official guidance was available re what should be happening/offered etc. I like facts 🙈

That Royal College of General Practitioners' Guide also gives guidance for drive-through vaccinations as well as providing a layout for drive-through sites.
Brilliant - hope your thread encourages the NHS to set up some of these sites.
It was widely implemented for the flu vaccines this year, so should be exactly the same for the Covid-19 vaccine (AZ Oxford in particular, if not Pfizer).
