Car MOt

6 weeks of self isolation due to different children getting symptoms one by one, and I'm now late for my MOT.
It just feels like the latest thing in a long line of shite I've had to deal with because of COVID. I wouldn't normally get this anxious about it, but I'm just exhausted by everything. I also have to,leave my teens at home while I take my car to the appointment, and have to take my 11 year old with me.
I'm just sick of everything.
That's all

Plus I'm just getting over the virus, in my third week now, and although I've recovered, keep feeling slightly light headed and tire very easily
I'm just fed up of everything

More whinging: I'm a single parent, no one to help. Ex is abusive, and is not seeing them since he hurt my ds last year.
I was doing so well, so on top of everything, winning, and then COVID hit.
(I realise this mode of thinking is not productive, I'm hoping tomorrow is a brighter day

Find a gag rage that collect and drop back your car, you will possibly have to pay a bit extra but it sounds like it is just what you need.

BarbaraofSeville · 19/01/2021 08:46

Yes, it might be worth seeing if they will collect the car, as they probably won't allow you to wait inside, so it might be worth it.

But unless your 11 YO has SENs, surely they'd be OK at home with the teens for a couple of hours? Most DC that age would barely noticed you'd left the house as long as their tech still works.

Do warn the garage by phone first that you are recovering. They can air it and be careful to wipe it down in places they touch.
