Dentist took mask off

I saw the dentist last week and after treatment he was showing me my xray. I was a bit dazed/ feeling out of it after the treatment and hadn't put my mask back on. I was within a metre of the dentist and he took his mask off, I think because he was changing masks. I remember thinking "that's not very professional" but I dont know if it was off for 10 seconds or more than a minute.

Anyway, a member or my household and I work at the same place where we have to have a rapid test once a week. Today my household member tested positive, (I didn't get the rapid test today) so our employer gave us both a "proper" test and sent us home.

If my test comes back positive I guess the dentist should be informed... how do I do this?

Was thinking to call and say I saw the dentist and had a question so could they call me back? Or should I just tell the receptionist?

You only have to inform people you saw 48 hours before you got symptoms. You saw him last week and currently have no symptoms or a positive test.

@Bumpinthenight ok, that's great! Thanks.
Was dreading making the phone call!

The dentist could very well be vaccinated so the risk is minimal.
