Ordered a test, but should I take it?

I had a lovely lunch yesterday that I was really looking forward too and it was disappointing because I swear I couldn't taste a thing. Had some sweets as well and convinced myself that I also couldn't taste them either. I've been quite run down lately too, but who hasn't! Anyway, I got worried and ordered a test, which has just arrived. Embarrassingly, it seems as though may sense of tastes is fine this morning (able to tastes my dreadful instant coffee). I feel fine. Should I still take the test?

Well you've ordered it, so what else is it good for? Not sure they last if you keep them just in case.

I'm sure the symptom counts even if it goes away again quickly. You had a loss of taste so you were right to order a test and you should definitely take the test just in case you're infectious with few/no symptoms.

Thanks! I'll take it.

Sorry, just saw this question. Negative. So relieved. Feel a bit silly, but I really couldn't taste that lunch!
