Please come and share your stories of mild illness
I tested positive yesterday and even though I just feel like I've got a cold I am paranoid I'll end up on ITU within a week!!!! (I used to work there so the horror of that is enough)

Please reassure me that your mild illness stayed mild
I have asthma but it's well managed and I didn't have to shield previously

I had covid over Xmas.

I kept a diary of how I felt day by day. Day 7 I too felt low - with bad headache and neck ache - but by day 10 I was much better. Now I am about Day 28 and am back to normal. Sending you best wishes.

Ah OP sorry to hear you're having a rubbish day of it. I felt quite off for a few days too and my smell went around a week in. Then that was the lingering symptom but mine started to return within 2 weeks after losing it.

Make sure you rest as much as you can. How old are the kids? Mine is 2 years old and apart from a funny voice one day (?!) and a slight temperature that responded to calpol, you'd never have known anything was up!

We treated ourselves to lots of healthy takeaways so I didn't have to cook, and both DH and I developed a taste for Coke/Pepsi during this time - which has continued - and I wouldn't go near the stuff before!

That mild I didn’t know I had it. I had headache and a burning sensation in my nose. Nothing else. Hope you get better soon

@Jsummersun thank you

Feeling better today, and for longer periods
Fingers crossed it'll keep on this track now

All well here thank you. Sense of smell finally pretty much back to normal! So don't panic about that if it was a symptom for you.

Hope your DC are also all recovered and well Smile
