Just booked haven South Wales for a week in August. Fingers crossed.
I did nearly cry at the price though, but I have a feeling they will increase even further so just went ahead and booked.

I’ve booking Spain for August.
Not sure why anyone thinks international travel wouldn’t be possible by then? Fingers crossed anyone 35+ ( just purely in the age grouped bracket assuming you’re not a teacher/ NHS who I hope will be prioritised for vaccine) will have had vaccine by July/ August of plan is everyone 18+ to have received by September. So think travel abroad this summer is a very definite possibility. I’m booking!

I really hope so, I rearranged my UK holiday from last July because I had to pay the full balance 6 weeks before and things were still looking uncertain at that point. I'll be gutted if we don't get to go this year.

I think if holidays were fine last summer in the U.K. I can’t see why with a vaccine they won’t this summer.

I think international travel (with negative tests required) will be too to be honest. The industry won’t survive otherwise. Many (me included) managed to get away last summer so again why not this summer..

Have a Haven holiday booked for May so crossing fingers it can go ahead.

Seeing as Boris has booked the G7 summit in Cornwall in June I'm thinking that they must be expecting free travel/holidays by that point?

Because he's very cautious and well known for being able to see into the future?

I haven't booked anything but would it be crazy to book it now? Desperate for some sun and sea in Cornwall

Maryann1975 · 17/01/2021 19:08

We are looking to book a UK holiday for this summer. We would prefer to go abroad (we don’t go every year and cancelled last years) but are still wary about it being cancelled. We might be vaccinated by then, but the dc won’t be. Will Greece be vaccinated, New variants, Travel corridors, isolating on return? It might be pretty much over by then, but we don’t want to take the risk, so sticking with this country this summer, although I reckon tourist spots will be packed, that can only be good for our economy.

I've got Cornwall booked for Easter. It's already been moved twice, I'd really quite like to go! Grin

I think we are going to book by the way, but with National Trust not a private owner as we had a private owner refuse to cancel when it was illegal for us to stay in her cottage.
