Posted a photo of himself on social media wearing a lanyard badge saying he’s exempt from wearing a mask and boasting that he bought it from Amazon. With the hashtag #anxiety.

Some people are just dicks.

That is the problem, too easy to buy them and self exempt just to get out of wearing a mask.

I don't think he seriously claims to have anxiety. He has just done this as a stunt to show he easy it is to get a lanyard.

Same here. It took me a while to believe he was quite as awful as he is. Not sure if he's just trying to provoke, or demonstrate how pointless those lanyards are?

Yep, I agree. I think something is going on with him. He’s always been a bit of an arrogant fucker and a snob about BP (I’m told) but there is something of a different quality to his outbursts these days. Summit’s up.

Oooh, I just had a lightbulb moment. I was confusing Lawrence Fox with Edward Fox and wondered why Billie Piper had married someone even older than her first husband. I've Googled him and he's a bit of a nobody isn't he? Interestingly one of the first things that came up was him saying that he 'had to say good bye to his money' because of the divorce. So I've had a nosey at his IMDB and at Billie's and she seems to have had way more work than him so I suspect that he actually had to say 'good bye' to HER money.

This particular Fox was always a lazy wanker with a victim complex. And now he's a failure on every level he feels even more aggrieved.

People like him are the reason some people with mask exemptions feel self conscious and as if they are letting the side down.

I think it's kind of in for a penny in for a pound for him now. His career is fucked so he can't turn back. Katie Hopkins has made a career out of it and that's his only option now. I think he probably does have MH issues but what came first? MH issues leading to damaging behaviour or his behaviour fucking things up so badly he's now in a hole he can't get out of?

To show that it's that easy to take the piss.

The system is not robust and people are able to take the piss with no regard for anyone else.

That is what he is showing.
His career or twatness has no bearing on it.

If someone we did deem worthy showed this up would we will be willing to accept the lesson then??

I’m not sure he is taking the piss.

He’s previously posted saying he will never wear a mask. He doesn’t believe that covid is bad, etc. Posted that he’s ignored the rules and hugged friends.

I think he fully intends to use the lanyard and go into shops with no mask and if somebody challenges him he will just say he has anxiety.

@poorbuthappy I agree in this instance he’s highlighting what you say but ultimately he’s just kicking against anything he can because he’s on a downward trajectory and generally angry, so any valid point he’s making about the lanyards etc is lost among his other rants.

He knows he doesn’t have anxiety, but he knows it’s easy for anyone to claim they do.

Which is unfair on people,with genuine anxiety who struggle with masks like my shop worker friend who does it even though it’s a struggle for a 7hr shift. She felt really panicked at first and had to practice at home building her time periods up. She’s been referred for CBT as her anxiety has got so bad due to covid so she would be entitled to not wear a mask but she wants to do it.

It’s also unfair on people who have tried and really been unable to wear masks because now people might just think they’re trying it on.

I did read some police forces will issue fines and people can have them dropped if they provide a doctors note in so many days. Though god knows the GPs have better things to do, plus you’d have to pay £30 for the letter at my surgery. But I do hope Mr Foxes local police do this to him........

In fairness, I think in a big contentious divorce like that with a custody battle, both sides hire expensive lawyers and everybody says goodbye to huge slabs of cash.
