Sorry this maybe a really stupid question, but stopping the travel corridors. Is this just aeroplanes? Or is it ferries, lorry’s etc?

Travel corridors were special arrangements for people arriving from 'low risk' countries - like Australia. They didn't have to quarantine for 10 days or have a negative test result. The removal of the corridors means that anyone arriving in the UK from anywhere in the world (except possibly Ireland - I haven't read the detail) by any means if transport will need to self isolate for 10 days and show a negative test result before being allowed entry.

@Sandwichgirl Thankyou for replying, slightly worrying about dh work as he has lorry’s coming over directly from Europe at present.

It's travellers, not freight (and accompanying hauliers).

There are exemptions, I don't know where to find a full list. My guess is 75% of people entering now will still be exempt.
