Sainsburys delivery slots

I know I'm lucky I can get one and appreciate it (although half the shopping was missing today so I had to go out anyway!!) but any idea why they will only let you book slots 1 week and 1 day apart?

I need shopping to come on the same day each week. This week it won't let me book until Saturday of next week? (Last week it did the same - shopping came on Thursday but I couldn't book until the following Friday [today] but I assumed it was a glitch)

I can book the same day every week (but I have a delivery pass and on priority list so this is probably not helpful). If it's just that it says unavailable it might just be that there aren't any slots left for that day.

I also have delivery pass and am on the ECV list (well DC3 is but obviously she doesn't have an email address so mine is used)

Its happened two weeks in a row now.

Doesn't matter if its a weekend really but i'd rather ot a set time and day, so I can meal plan (and work!!)

I get delivery every Friday. I book delivery every Friday after I get the delivery. No problems

I’ve got deliveries every Friday to.....maybe it’s just that you don’t have availability on that day in your area?

I can book a week ahead of time so book on Monday for Monday after . No delivery pass though .

I can book any day I fancy about 4-5 days hence at the moment.

Are you using the 4 hour saver slots?

I get a delivery every Saturday without issue. Just checked the app and I can book any day from next Saturday onwards although weirdly before that it’s only showing 10am and 9pm slots for the days before that so maybe they have something weird going on. Maybe contact Sainsbury’s?

I’m also a delivery pass hold and on the priority list. I can see two weeks ahead on the app, but the next available slot is the afternoon of Sat 23rd Jan. I get my deliveries on Sundays and I always book my slot (two weeks ahead) by lunchtime Sunday.

I was told that delivery pass holders get two weeks ahead, whereas non delivery holders can only book one week ahead - I don’t know how true that is though.

Yes I see 2 weeks too so the morning of the delivery day I book for the same day 2 weeks later. The second week always has loads more slots so the delivery pass thing makes sense.

I get two weeks in advance, can only book one slot a week at the moment so I book for two weeks time once the delivery arrives.

No availability for deliveries showing here , only offers a week at a time - managed to get a c and c slot for Tuesday though.

I can only see a week ahead bar 1 day...so if I look on a Weds I can see up until Tues the following week

I know Asda allow you to have a reoccurring slot, I have mine delivered every Wednesday at the same time. Could you not book a reoccurring slot with Sainsburys? I do have a delivery pass so maybe that makes a difference.

They don’t do recurring slots, unfortunately. Would make life easier.

FFS. It happened again.

Had delivery yesterday and now can't book until next Sunday (31st)

So annoying. I'm not taking the piss. I just want one slot a week to avoid the shops. I don't want to have it come on a work / school day. I don't want to have to go out to top up.

(We have delivered pass and ECV household member, hence being able to get a delivery slot)
