Spitting is vile, yes. People who would spit at someone now would also spit at someone regardless. Some people are just animals.

I really can’t get worked up about people travelling. Flights are still flying, no questions are being asked at the airports on departure or arrival. If governments don’t want people to leave or enter, they need to enforce that and close air space, not leave it up to individuals to decide whether their travel is essential or not. Anything else is tacit agreement that travelling is acceptable, and if that tacit agreement is taken as such by travellers, fair play.
