Am I being silly

I have been offered vaccination through work. We get a text and need to book appointment. I’ve not been feeling ok for a while and I need sometime to figure things out. My marriage is not great and work is extra stessful...so I need a breather
Coming to the vaccination I’m not an anti Vader but wanted to read up a little and prepare myself. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. Since I haven’t had the time I didn’t book the appointment immediately, now when I check it says no slots available.
I’ll ring work tomorrow and find out information on how to get back in the queue. But when I got the text I told my husband as he just went ‘go ahead and take it’, I then told him of the above and needing some time but he just made me feel like a fool in not jumping at it, he said something along the lines of if it was me I’ll be there with my sleeves rolled up.
He never gives much importance or thought about feelings of mine, he says he doesn’t understand it but it just made me feel worse.

Not sure why I’m typing this but just want to get it off my chest. Sad

There's a lot of information available but I would suggest you only look at credible, medical sources or trusted media sites. I think there's information on the BBC website.

Wouldn't not worrying so much about catching Coronavirus and the infection rates coming down because of people having the vaccine give you reassurance and ease your anxiety? I know it would for me.

@Lindy2yes it does. It’s just that I haven’t mentally prepared myself for this so want some time before booking the appointment as supposed to booking and cancelling it which is such a waste of time and resources

The whole conversation with my husband made me feel guilty..I suppose that’s what is bothering me

I don't think you are being silly. I definitely have concerns about the vaccines. I have had covid (its shit) so thought id be ok but it is not thought to give full immunity so i will be getting vaccinated when offered.

Thank you @TheoriginalLEM. Yes all I needed is some time to prepare..but was made to feel guilty during the conversation. I shouldn’t have told him...he never understands how I feel about anything
