Has anyone caught COVID from young DC?

DD(3) tested positive yesterday after catching it from nursery (a staff member tested positive at the beginning of the week, and subsequently several members of her bubble have tested positive). She has a mild cough and had a brief temperature spike a couple of days ago. I assume we're quite likely to catch it from her, but wondered what real life experiences are? Do they still say that young children don't spread it as easily?

My neighbours were all infected by their 4 year old but he was sicker than your dd - diarrhoea, fever and cough.

My sister caught it from nursery children, twice, and every time my class bubble has popped it's been the mildly symptomatic child that has then spread it to the rest of the family.

Yes. I can’t imagine why they ever said that children don’t really spread the virus.
