Hi all,

I am self isolating atm due to my partner having covid symptoms and then testing positive.
My 10 days started on Monday this week. Now my daughter has developed symptoms and is due to do a test tomorrow. We are guessing it will most likely be a positive for her too.
In which case, would I be expected to self isolate for another 10 days from the day her symptoms started (currently on day 5 of partners onset of symptoms)

I can’t find information anywhere.

Please help!

No your isolation as a household contact does not extend if there is another positive in the house during the original isolation period from the index case.
Obviously if you develop symptoms yourself during the isolation period get a test, if positive you will then restart isolation for 10 days after your symptoms started.
