Does anyone know where i stand on nursery fees.
I called my nursery on jan 5 and was told “don’t send my kids in if possible”, “it’s not worth risk”, not enough staff as some shielding etc.
We decided to keep at home for now. Especially as we have a school aged child anyway.
They have since had several members of staff and kids go down with covid. Nursery is now closed to all as a) self isolating as people have been exposed b) not enough staff to cover as they are self isolating and shielding
Now they are saying they might be in position to open late next week but only to key worker kids. They “might have room for others but will check on a day to day basis”
I’m totally fine with this but I’ve got two kids at nursery 3 days a week and they want me to continue paying full fees. They state in a recent letter there will be no fee reduction.
Surely that’s not right? I’m happy to make a fair contribution but not full fees.,
