Hi. Im due to have a vaccination through work. I have been working from home as child is ECV. Once vaccinated does this mean I can return to face to face support work? I am expecting that this will be expected by employer but we are concerned that I could unknowingly catch and transmit covid into household?

I can't remember the exact wording, but I think the shielding letter said we should still shield even after receiving both doses of the vaccine.

It’s not yet known if transmission can still happen when vaccinated. So if you’re at home because of your CEV child then you will have to stay at home still once vaccinated as there’s nothing to say you can’t still bring the virus home.

Saying that I guess it’s in your employer to decide as there’s nothing to say you must work from home because of a CEV child if they need you in.
