Borris, I plead with you, please spell out the rules so people can follow them properly.

*Tell us what the rules are, exactly, on exercise. We need to know. Stuff the common sense - we want you to be clear.

*Tell schools clearer guidance on who can send kids in - a list of yes and no's (one parent key worker and one stay at home parent should be 'no' for example).

*Spell out the rules on supermarkets - be clear.

*Spell out the rules on work. Be clear.

Just give us the flippin rules in a clear, accessible way we can all understand so if we break them, we'll know we r breaking them.

Put the rules on TV, CLEARLY. And in the paper. And on posters. MAKE THEM CLEAR

People will follow the rules if they KNOW WHAT THEY ARE ...

Some poor family ambushed by police in Wales today for going for a walk to a 'local' waterfall - law abiding people honestly didn't know they were in the wrong. Because THE RULES ARE NOT CLEAR

MAKE THEM CLEAR BORRIS

Pleaaaaaase..

If he makes them too clear then he can't get away with breaking them.

@DayBath

If he makes them too clear then he can't get away with breaking them.

Grinvery true.

Trouble is I agree with people staying local but then I just think of Dominic Cummings and my blood begins to boil.

ZaZathecat · 12/01/2021 19:53

I totally agree. It's like he's saying 'you can go for a walk with a friend, but don't do it!'

ZaZathecat · 12/01/2021 19:55

As well as 'takeaway coffee is allowed, but drink it at home!'

BaronessVonCake · 12/01/2021 20:05

Totally agree, the government is sending mixed messages like cafes , The Range and take-aways being open but the government saying only go out for essential reasons like essential food shopping and exercise.

It means too many people are either genuinely confused by the mixed messages OR they are using the mixed messages as an excuse not to stay in.

I think it makes the police's job in trying to enforce the rules v difficult too.
