Vaccine or Covid

If you are young and not in the vulnerable category would you have the vaccine or risk getting Covid?

Do you think our immune system would react better having the actual virus rather than the vaccine?...

Hmmm, it's a tricky one. Would I like a new virus which has left a lot of people, including athletes, dead or with long-term illness. Or would I like a needle in my arm for 2 seconds. It's impossible to decide. I'll have to phone a friend or ask the audience....

39 year old female. Fit and healthy. No underlying problems. I've had a the vaccine. I've also had covid and suffered quite bad.

Why wouldn't anyone have the vaccine and "take the risk" of cAtching covid

Snowiscoldy · 12/01/2021 16:50

Honestly you would think the answer was obvious but I found this post on fb yesterday by a man who doesnt even believe viruses are contagious. His followers all answered the question saying they would rather choose to HAVE covid than the vaccine!

Is it me or are there a lot of stupid questions on here today?

Scaredykittycat · 12/01/2021 16:54

Vaccine for me.

There is still the long Covid risk.

GintyMcGinty · 12/01/2021 16:54

Vaccine

Why be ill if you don't need to?

@Babdoc

Well, it depends how keen you are to risk death or long term disability from post Covid lung damage and fatigue, OP. So far Covid has killed over 81,000 people in the UK and nearly 2 million worldwide. The vaccine has killed nobody. Hmm, such a difficult decision....
