Is your GP surgery open?

My local surgery is shut as so many staff have Covid they cannot run the medical practice also it is being deep cleaned. GPs from neighbouring surgeries are covering urgent cases.

So what is the issue...?

I find it quite shocking that things are so bad that the GPs have had to close their doors

In any circumstance where the gps got Ill all at once, they’d close. Whether that be for flu, measles, or chronic stress. They’ll be back shortly.

Smaller surgeries are much more prone to closure for these reasons than large.
