Do I need to isolate?

I’m doing one of the COVID studies (Zoe) and one of the questions is whether you feel ‘physically normal’. For the past few days I’ve had a runny nose but that’s it. I was asked to take a test, something to do with checking their algorithm rather than having actual symptoms (I have none of the symptoms on the NHS website) and I sent it back yesterday.

My question is, do I need to isolate until I get my results off chance that I’m asymptomatic?

Technically no, you might choose to in case it does turn out to be Covid though.

Thanks @JanuaryChill. I haven’t really been out, just in case. I went for a night time walk last night to get some fresh air and minimise my chance of seeing anyone but that’s it. Wasn’t sure if I was being paranoid though

No you don’t need to

No you don’t.
The Zoe app has sent me for tests 4 times in the last 7 months and it’s always told me I don’t need to isolate (not that I’ve been having much contact with anyone anyway).
