Student volunteer opportunities for vaccination programme?

As DS is stuck at home for the foreseeable and not able to return to Uni, he would like to volunteer to help with the teams rolling out the vaccines.

Obviously he's not going to be jabbing anyone in the arm, but there must be something else useful he could do.

Anyone know how to go about this?

Does he also drive? He could volunteer as a driver to take people without cars to their tests. There must be some old people stuck without transport.

Some centres need marshals to help organise arrivals and flow. There should be a local volunteer bureau advertising if so or nhs /ccg website. Our most local one is being organised by the local council and using their staff and contacts.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. DS has registered with the NHS scheme today, so we'll see what comes out of it.
