Isolating soon after being positive

Hi all!

I tried searching but couldn't find an answer to this..

DS tested positive 2 weeks ago, we've all been out of isolation since Thursday.

Today I've been for a test. I'm feeling it's unlikely to be Covid (more likely asthma) but we're all isolating until the results are back

Obviously if I'd tested on Wednesday or before then DS would have finished isolating on Thursday regardless (i believe?!), so I'm assuming DS needs to join us with isolating again this time? It's not the end of the world, he's not obviously attending college but he would walk the dog etc if he's allowed out!

Any ideas? Im feeling he'll be back isolating with us again!

Ah lovely to hear from you Shazza and Carol! Thankfully I give a damn about others in this world so will be doing my bit.

@Takeitonthechin

Once your son is over COVID, he doesn't have to isolate even if you test positive. This is what I read and understood....
Boris isolated when he'd been in contact with someone who'd tested positive, even though he'd had Covid.
