Does anyone know if Covid tests results can come back on a weekend? We posted ours off yesterday and we're not sure when to expect to hear anything. Thank you!

No. The figures read out on the news literally every weekend are completely made up and have nothing to do with actual positive tests.

Yes I often get them on a wkend, work in care home.

yes they can come back on weekends. I was told they work 24/7 so to expect the results at any time

I got my results at 3am . I believe they work 24/7.

I got mine on a Sunday morning so yes

We have had them back on New Year's Day as well as the weekend so they are working everyday.

My postal test took 4 days to get a result from posting.

A little harsh but common sense would tell you that of course ithey send them out every day, they don't let infected people have the weekend to pass on covid then let them all know on Mondays
