Are bubbles still allowed?

I'm in NI and my DP lives 55 miles away. We both live alone and are each other's bubble. However, with stricter rules now in place, can we still travel to see each other? This would be by car btw.

Does the NI government webpage not have info?

Nidirect doesn't specify, but it does say:

"You should not travel more than 10 miles from your home in order to take exercise."

So I would say that traveling 55 miles to see your partner would be frowned on, although I can't say that it is categorically against the law.

Yes bubbles still seem to exist. Their rules are separate to the rules on travel

"You should not travel more than 10 miles from your home in order to take exercise."

That is currently guidance and for now it has been decided not to make it legally enforceable

Shes not going for exercise though, she's travelling to see a person she has bubbled with
