Are silk face masks worth it?

A lot of my masks are cotton masks. I do like the shape and the design and the ear loops on them. I find them heavy on the face. I have one satin silk face mask and I do like it but it gets warm.

I am looking at a mulberry silk face mask online but it is expensive. It has 2 layers and a filter pocket and the ear loops look like it's suitable to my liking.

I have to wear masks all day and I hate it. Sometimes it hard and I battle on but I hate it. It looks like the silk masks look lighter. Would they be more easy to breathe in. Also I think masks are here to stay. When all the is virus stuff dies down and when I start using public transport again, I hope to continue wearing masks.

I wear silk masks, double layer with a filter, because I get very panicky with anything over my nose. It's the best option for me and allows me to do eg shopping in relative calm. Also much cooler in summer and kinder to skin if you're getting maskne

I’ve got a few silk face masks and find them slightly more comfortable than normal cloth ones. The main problem I find is, depending on the colour, they really show the dampness of your breath so you can see and damp outline on the mask which looks a bit grim. More of an issue with lighter colours but I’ve not found this with cloth masks. The Mulberry masks are a bit of a weird shape too - I look like a have a witches chin when I wear mine.
