Anyone really feel the cold since having COVID?

Until recently I would have described myself as someone who runs hot. I would go out in a top and a fleece/jacket in January and not feel cold. At home I have never worn sleeved tops, always been comfortable in just a t shirt. Never wore socks at home either, always been comfy to be barefoot.

I caught Covid around three weeks ago and although I am way past the acute stage, breathing is now good and no other lingering symptoms, I am never warm enough!

Today I work a top, sweater and fleece to get DS IN THE CAR(!) and I was freezing - the heating was on! I've got a thin pair of socks on and ice cold toes.

My thermostat is at 19, which has always been perfectly adequate in previous years. I may have to up it to 20 at this rate!

Anyway, just wondering if this is a getting old thing or a post Covid thing. Interested to hear if this has happened to you.

Yes! I’m the same. Although I’ve never been a “hot” person, I feel the cold even more than normal. Working from home today and found myself shivering at several points with the heating on and under the duvet.

I’m two weeks past initial symptoms now and pretty much recovered.

Well I've hit the heating up high (no thermostat), thick socks, sheepskin slippers, t shirt top and hoody on and I'm not cold but not exactly boiling. It's -1 outside.
