Vaccine numbers

I am trying to clutch on to positives here!
I look daily on the healthcare part of the dashboard for updates on those received a first dose of vaccine.
Any ideas why it hasn’t been updated since 27th Dec?
I am waaaay down the priority list, but would like to think I could potentially throw a small 40th party at the end of the summer.

I think I saw on another thread that the numbers are posted weekly on a Thursday but are numbers up to the preceding Sunday. If I understood correctly then numbers up to 3rd January should be posted today.

Looks like they have updated it now, close to a million have had their first dose which is great! Seems like the logistics are in place now for it to ramp up, I know it doesn't seem quick enough, but it's an impressive feat, that hopefully will accelerate soon.

It was 1.3 million the other day

If you're on Twitter I suggest you follow Coronavirus Good News. It just posts positive things - including vaccine numbers when they are released.

They did say they would update today and then daily from Monday.
