Confirmed coronavirus in a 1 year old?

Had anyone’s one year old had confirmed coronavirus? I’ve been exposed to covid and we all got tested today but now I’m getting stressed at the thought of my DD having covid. She’s 15 months and she looked a little paler and more tired than usual today, she also hasn’t been sleeping as well as usual but otherwise she’s active and eating well. Any reassurance would be appreciated! Thanks

My friend has an 11 month old who had it in December. She was okay, a bit pale and unhappy but she’s all good again now and seemed to find it easier than the adults.

My friend's baby had it when he was 10 months. She said that he seemed to be a little off his food for half a day but that was literally the only symptom, she would never have known he was ill if she hadn't got him tested. (My friend and DH had worse symptoms but they were still fine).

My friends boy turned 1 two days ago and has covid. They all have it. He had a mild cough, like a normal winter cough, and is a bit moody. He is fine.

Strongly suspect my 12 week old had it when we did. Two days of intermittent low grade fever, some fussiness, one bad nappy. Didn’t get him tested as he wasn’t clinically unwell and we couldn’t leave the house.

@katyas19 my niece had it at 9 months and she was fine! Only a slight temperature (only had the test because her mum was positive)

Thanks so much, I feel better. Just hope our tests come back negative anyway🤞🏼

My 9 month old had it. She was fine, I’d have assumed a heavy cold if I hadn’t tested positive! Ran pretty warm for a night or so, very very snotty & grumpy. All better by 4/5th day!

My 17month old DS had it in December. He was sneezing but not snotty, a bit moody, very sleepy but wanted us to stay with him to get to sleep (which isn't like him) and he had periods where he didn't want to eat. Lasted between 2-3 weeks.
Hope your DD is ok

My 20 month old had it last month. A few days of high temperature and one night of vomiting, tbh not that much worse than bad teething. Obviously you don’t want them to get ill but it was nowhere near as bad as I was worried it would be. Dh on the other hand really suffered.
