Our twins attend a specialist school - they are in a separate building with a very small class, lots of rooms and outdoor space. The school hasn’t had a single case and been open throughout - we have complex circumstances so weighing everything up we decided to send them back.
End of day 2 got a call saying one of their class staff has tested positive on a lateral flow test, no symptoms, so now we have 10 days of isolation.
With the asymptomatic testing in schools, I’m expecting this will happen a lot. Makes you wonder how many asymptomatic cases there have been.
