Test retest timeframe?

Can anyone tell me how long it took you to get a negative PCR test result after you initially tested positive?

We need to travel back to our home in France but tested positive for covid two weeks ago. As we understand it we need a negative result to be allowed to travel back. We are now symptomless and have completed the quarantine/isolation period but have heard it can take longer to get the negative test result.

Thank you in advance for any info or experiences...

Oh dear, you arent supposed to have a no symptom test for 90 days after a positive test as it can pick up viral remnants giving a positive test even if you're not contagious.

Agree with dementedpixie it’s possible for tests to remain positive for quite some time after COVID. 90 days is correct.

Yes, that's my worry 🙁
