dad waiting for ambulance

my dad is having issues with breathing but no temp or cough or anything. Dad is 70. His lungs are burning and arms are heavy. He called the gp and they are sending an ambulance. He hasn't been tested or anything. Is the gp just being cautious? Anxiety is high atm.

Have they started him on antibiotics or are they waiting for the results to come back?

Antibiotics started. Hes already on anti intiflamities (spelling?) For arthritis so they've given jim something else for his heart. They've told him 6 weeks bedrest

Hes getting out today. Hes been told no stress no over exerting. More tests on Monday. Covid test still isn't back

If they did chest x-ray the Covid is usually obvious from that even if swab not back so hopefully he will be ok. Hope he makes a quick recovery.
