My guess is that schools will now be shut until at least half way through term 4. Some us will have DC at excellent schools who will provide a rich educational environment online. Many of us won’t. Let’s make lists of useful resources for everyone having to educate their DC at home.

Please writes the year(s) the resource is best for and the price if it is not free. Please also add a brief description.

Busythings. Website. (Busythings.co.uk). I’m sorry I can’t remember the subscription cost but I think it’s about £30 - you can then set up different accounts within that for different children.
Suitable for preschool up to age 11. Lots of games - maths, English (phonics) and loads of topic things. You can set levels for your child, so if they are playing a times table game, you can choose which tables you want it to include. But starts with very basic with things like NEU,her recognition. My kids love it and don’t feel like they are learning!

Readingeggs. Again, I can’t remember how much a subscription is but it starts with a test and then has leads the child through a series of activities from there.
