I am so utterly fed up

We've been nowhere and done nothing for 3 weeks and yet my 3yo is now suffering from a high temp. And there are no local testing slots available now (will check again at 8am and 10am). And my baby's 12 week jabs are due tomorrow and now we'll have to delay them due to isolating.

And I'm a bit scared as it it's covid then she must have just got it from walking past someone or touching a railing. I have health anxiety at the best of times, high temps worry the hell out of me.

And then there's more lockdown. This is not a good week.

Solidarity with anyone feeling the same.

How worrying everything is right now! My background worry is high too, it's inevitable.

This really has been an awful week Brew

I hope you get s test quickly, and a negative result.

3 year olds get poorly. It's highly unlikely to be Covid in the circumstances you describe.

I've slept 4 hours ... I can't face this all again. I feel sick at the thought of home schooling and working FT as a lone parent.

Be kind to yourself ... I've made a rule for me and DS we will not be doing it like we did last time!

Take care

I get so anxious with fever, for some reason - even though I know it's actually good as it's the body fighting. She's been at 39 all day before medication, and it raises again 2-3 hours later. She's been shivery as it's coming up but otherwise happy and playing, just off food. Basically she's fine and I'm over reacting, but this whole pandemic is making me very stressed. I'm also upset that if at any point right now she needed hospital It would be DH that would have to go with her as I'm breastfeeding my 12 week old who I wouldn't want to take with me at this time. Talk about over thinking!!!

@yawnsvillex Don't expect to be good at either thing, I would say. It's an impossible ask from both the government and employers. They can hardly sack you because you have to educate your children
