Has anyone had covid twice?

If you have tested positive for anti bodies as you suspect you had it earlier in the year (march/april) have you also tested positive recently?

NHS worker here. I know multiple colleagues who have tested positive twice. It's not as unusual as people are making out

Apparently studies are showing that the new strain seems to infect people who have had it before (as well as others). I'm hoping that there is some immunity but I think were all waiting official results.

Then positive October again but asymptomatic

My cousin's partner has had it twice, first time was awful, second time fairly mild.

Lots of people are reporting having it twice on the covid Facebook groups. I suspect it’s not unusual.

I am not in he UK, so haven't had it, but a young family friend based in London, early twenties, has probably had it twice. First time, very early on in the pandemic, before the first lockdown, a bunch of friends all lost their sense of taste and smell after going to a concert - no tests were available and before that became on official symptom. Recently tested positive just before Christmas.

I'm pretty sure I had it back in March. I had some very mild symptoms in Oct / nov but did get a test done as I didn't have any of the top three symptoms. I just had the fuzzy feeling I'd had with the first lot.

Yes. OH had positive antibody test mid October.

Recently tested positive on a PCR swab test.

No symptoms either time. We were surprised.

Lots of my colleagues have had it twice.

Colleague had two positive tests, three months apart. First time she was very ill, the second time she was fine. False positive? Or true covid twice, but asymptomatic the second time?

Yes me. Last March and this December. No idea about strains but the second time was a lot milder.
