Hi,

Boris announced that early years providers can stay open.

Our pre school is based within a primary school, so will they be able to stay open or not?

Thanks.

Mine has closed.

@Dontrainonmyparade Ours has too. But I don’t understand why when the government has said they’re ok to open.

@beargrass Thank you very much for those links Smile

I was wondering this too - I am in an area where schools were originally closing anyway until 18th January 2021.

I thought perhaps after they would reopen the school nurseries?

@PinkJam this might now be the newer guidance(?):

"Childcare
There are several ways that parents and carers can continue to access childcare:

Early Years settings (including nurseries and childminders) remain open"
