How safe are dentists?

I need to go to the dentist today for a tooth abscess. I'm ECV and shielding. In a tier 4 area. I know a few people who've picked it up from hospital appointments. How safe is the dentist?

Very very safe we have more safety protocols and ppe than anyone!
