When would schools be considered safe enough to reopen?

If they do close, will we be back to the scenario we had previously where it was only considered safe enough with approx 6 DC per classroom at primary and no prospect of reopening for secondary? I'm so worried about this , that once they're shut we're back to square one and DC won't be going back for a very long timeSad My DC didn't fare well with the last school closures and months and months of home learning and I am really concerned.
