Long covid - early symptoms

I was wondering if people who were unlucky enough to experience long covid would mind telling me what their initial experience was of covid in the first couple of weeks post infection.

I am wondering if there are any early symptoms e.g fever or fatigue that are more likely than others to develop into long covid and did people ever have very mild symptoms which then got worse or was it more the case that symptoms were always bad and did not improve.

I am only 7 days post infection and wondering what to expect for the future. I currently have heavy cold like symptoms plus fatigue but not had a fever or loss of taste or a cough.

I sound a bit like you. 7 days after first symptoms. Light cold feel but the fatigue is something else. I felt okish this morning. Shifted some pots about in the garden for 15 minutes and my arms and legs started to go to jelly. Had trouble using my laptop's mouse for the next couple of hours my arms felt so weak. Had nap and don't feel I've quite recovered still. Taking big breaths hurts a bit too. Slight fever but no cough and taste still works.

I was also worried. 10-14 days later still so so fatigued. Now a month on and feel almost normal.

2 months in, terrible brain fog and muscle pain. Not sure if you’d class that’s as long covid or not but I’m really struggling at work!
