Shielding and moving out

So I would like to know if it permitted to move during a lockdown. My husband is ECV and we need our child to return to school so we can both work. The solution to this issue is for my husband to move in with his brother and wife who have already had covid a couple of months ago thus reducing the risk to him of our child bringing covid home from school. It would be until he can get the vaccine. Would this be permissible under current rules as it seems like common sense to us?

Yes, you can move house in any tier.
You can also change support bubble if necessary, which is what your husband will be doing.
There is clear guidance on both activities on the government' coronavirus pages.

Yes you are definitely allowed to do that. Even when people came from abroad and had to quarantine they were allowed to change where they quarantined

The general rule is your can't keep changing.

That's really helpful as my husband is a stickler for the rules and doesn't want to get in trouble

Yes completely fine to do this. I’d wait until tomorrow to decide though, sounds like all schools might close.
