Hospital outpatient appointments

To what extent are these still continuing in your area?

My DD is due an eye appointment this month (we've not had notification of the appt yet, but not unusual, it's usually a week or two before).

The hospital is a small local one, no A&E or critical care, predominantly does outpatient care, minor operations and minor injuries.

Just wondering on the liklihood of it still going ahead.

Dh has one this week, only arranged a few days ago. Seems to be running as usual.

It depends on how critical the appointment might be. All mine have continued. I’m in tier 4. Major hospital. London.

That's helpful, thanks.

She had one in November (first face-to-face since February) but she needs to have the more in-depth one where they dilate her eyes.

London

Son's physio face-to-face appointment has been cancelled on Monday. He hasn't been able to have a face-to-face appointment since February and video appointments are not suitable.

I myself have been referred for an MRI - although I haven't had a date booked in - there were be delays given the situation the hospital is in.

However, my DH’s appointments for skin cancer follow-ups were done by phone -which was pointless, as no one could examine his skin.
