Will Welsh schools 🏫 close too?

Sorry if this has been posted, I can’t find any answers on the Welsh government website, it’s not been updated.
I’m in Torfaen, our secondary school has said we’ll start back on the 11th Jan but I work in primaries in the area and was hoping to start back next week on 11th also. As cases are also so bad in South Wales I wondered if this is likely to change? Anyone know when Kirsty or drakeford are due to make announcements?

I'm in pembrokeshire and we too are going back on the 11th (primary and secondary). I'm so anxious about the whole thing, I've just received my 13yr olds updated shielding advice letter today which says he shouldn't go to school but siblings are fine to.

Powys are going back on 6th, up to year 9. Older years the following week. I think they should delay it. No idea when an announcement will be from Wales, or if they'll wait to see what England does. I do think they need to close them though.

Fucking hope so. Gwynedd primary schools are supposed to be opening on 5th.

Our schools sent emails on Thursday saying as it stands it's the 11th for primaries and secondaries but there's a meeting Wednesday where they'll announce what happens next.

Dd's Conwy county high school goes back on 6th last I heard.
I figured we'd hear more Monday afternoon in an email from school if they were going to change anything.

Still due to be going back on the 6th in the Vale (primary). But tbh I think we'll get an update on Monday.

We have been told 11th in Swansea but that there is a meeting at 1pm on Monday and we will be updated again after that.

Just watching the NEU live stream and they are saying that their advice to members also applies in Wales.

Our high school is closed, back to Google classroom for us.

All Welsh schools are now closed until 18th. Fully expect them to follow England and Scotland and close until February half term.

No idea OP but imagine we will be told tomorrow or in the next few days.
In Torfaen too and not surprised that it’s so bad here after having to pop to the opticians in Cwmbran last week and seeing hardly and social distancing or masks!
