After a CT scan and FIT test that was clear the consultant has diagnosed IBS. I've never been physically examined, and had to have an abdominal scan instead of colongram as they won't do them due to Covid.
He prescribed mebevirene which worked initially. However, I'm now back to square one, explosive diaharrea within 15 minutes of eating, extreme wind and awful nausea.
I'm going to call my GP next week to try to discuss with them. So should I push for different medication or more tests.
The consultant did say that a colongram was the only way to completely rule out bowel cancer, but they could only do abdo scans. So I'm worried something could have been missed.
