Anyone know the situation with operations

Does anyone know what the situation is with operations at the moment i am tier 4 and my lp shunt has broken I know because there is a giant lump where the scar is so fluids pooling into my back usually they’ll book me for a shunt repair operation in a couple of weeks but am I going to wait until it’s an emergency because of Covid?

No, in my trust urgent lists are going ahead, not just life and limb emergencies.You may have more risk of cancellation, need testing and be delayed but you shouldn’t have to wait until it’s an emergency.
