Feeling really sad

So I am a registered nurse in a care home working with the most lovely caring people. Our home has been ripped apart by this virus since Christmas. Am absolutely devastated. We all love our residents and all care for each other ...how do we go on from this ?

I didnt want to read and run. So sorry you have lived through this and worked so hard to care and support each other I really dont know the answer. I guess carry on supporting each other, talk and cry if needed. Plan better times that will come? Does your workplace have a support counsellor or other structure in place? Hope someone comes along with better advice soon.

Have they all now been vaccinated?

You just do. It's so hard and I'm so sorry you're going through this. You sound utterly exhausted.

You clearly care deeply about your colleagues and residents. You are a family and it must be devastating and frightening for you all.

You will get through this terrible time. Sending you a hand to hold to support you in your sadness. Better days will come
