Feeling quite sad. My mum is in a bubble with my nan, my dad in a bubble with my step mums mum. My eldest is 17, youngest 5. I have no one

Would a friend not bubble with you? My parents are my bubble, but if I'm honest I would prefer to bubble with a friend as my dad has been horrendous to deal with the last few months and I'm constantly terrified I'll pass it to them from my young children in school

I'm sorry, that's shit for youFlowers

Is your step mum around? If so would it not be an option for her to bubble with her mum (without your dad seeing her too) and you bubble with your dad?? Some logistics may need to be worked out, ie you and step mums mum not spending time at dad/step mums house, but worth looking if you can sort something between you??

That is a linked bubble so not allowed!

I have nobody in mine either. We 'bubbled' with my sons girlfriend's family in the beginning so he could still see her (her mum is single)
Then my husband left me in November so I'm stuffed now!

Have you got a friend you can bubble with? We are in a support bubble with friends instead of family.

Glenthebattleostrich · 29/12/2020 22:25

Me either.

My so called best mate decided to bubble with another friend and my family live 2 hours away. Its bloody lonely and incredibly tough on DD too.
