I went to a & e on the advice of 111 and i was put on a drip and given antiemetics and omeprezole through the drip. It took the edge off and I've eaten for the first time in 5 days so fingers crossed I'm starting to come through the other side. I've got my sense of smell coming back and no more temperatures so I'm really hopeful. How are you feeling today?

Oh that's such good news, I'm pleased you got some help. I've managed to eat two cream crackers today although it brought back the nausea! But I've had a slightly better day. Fingers crossed we are on the right side of this battle now x

My asthma has started flaring now though so I can't sleep for the breathing problems! Hopefully that will stay manageable though x

Its a slow process, I still feel nauseous all the time and keep retching but it's gradually getting less. My asthma also started playing up but yesterday that improved loads so I think it's just a case of waiting now. Obviously unless it becomes too difficult, you must get help if you're struggling.
Let's hope we're both on the mend now

I certainly hope so. I've not been sick and the diarrhoea seems to have slowed down but I still feel so nauseous. It's the most horrible virus ever, let's hope it passes soon x
