Isolation

I tested positive for Covid and my household completed our isolation on Christmas Eve. I stayed away from everyone as much as I could and no one else developed any symptoms. Today my son has lost his taste. I don't understand why the government has cut isolation for contacts from 14 days to 10. My son has visited his dad since our isolation ended and now his dads family is at risk.

But my question is, do I need to isolate again? I know the rest of our household do because no one else has tested positive, but with me just having it do I need to isolate? Thanks

Myself and my daughter lost our sense of taste a week after our positive test, so could be he's had it with few or very muted symptoms for a week or more. The only way to be sure is all get tested. You should be immune, but not sure if you have to isolate again, presumably not, but do check x
