How does isolating work in this situation?

Firstly this is not my family thankfully.

Family of 4, dad tests positive, three days later child age 9 tests positive then mum three days after. One child age 13 has no symptoms.

How long do the family have to isolate in total. I've read that after 10 days following dad's positive, the 13 year old no longer has to isolate as long as he doesn't have symptoms. It's all so confusing for them and they want to get it right.

10 days after the last person tests positive. The 13 year old could catch it at any point during their infectious period.
