Another isolation question - apologies

DS has tested positive. Took 5 days to get result back so he has already done 7 out of his isolation says as symptoms started 21/12.

My symptoms started 23/12 and I had a test but still waiting for results.

DD and DH started symptoms yesterday so will be testing today. I assume If DH and DD are positive then both me and DS will be required to isolate 10 days after their symptoms began, even though we may have had it. Am I right?

Anyone who tests positive goes for 10days isolation from symptoms regardless of other family members. So DS can finish his isolation before you and so on, there is no need to extend your isolation because of DH and DD
