I love my family dearly. We have all been extremely unlucky and tested positive over the Christmas ‘break’ (4 adults). Our isolation collectively stretches over 2.5 weeks.
I have really found their constant symptom checking relentless. We’ve all had a mild / mid symptoms; a couple of days feeling awful and then lingering ‘unwelness’. If this was a usual winter cold or flu they wouldn’t be complaining quite so much but I feel because they know it’s COVID they are over analysing every feeling - a touch lightheaded, a little nauseated... and so on.
I have been empathetic - I know because I’ve not felt well myself, but just want them to feel better so I don’t have to hear about it anymore!
